The "KEYWORD SEARCH" allows you to search the Marin County Government Web Site for keywords linked to government departments, divisions, and services. It is not a text search of the web pages but rather a search for key words related to County services, departments and divisions. It is best to enter only one or two words in the search since all words entered need to be found, in exact order, for a search to be successful.
If you want to search the text or titles of the entire web site, use the "Full Text Search" link.
If you are having trouble finding the information you are looking for, the first thing to do is to use the "Keyword Search". Enter a word or phrase in the "Keyword Search" box found on the home page or the at the top right of all other pages and click the 'GO' button (found just to the right of the field) to begin the search. For example, if you were looking for jobs or employment opportunities at the County of Marin, you could type "Employment", in the keyword search box. After clicking the "GO" button, you would be presented with links for county services that contain the desired word or words, including a link to "Employment Opportunities" offered by Marin County Human Resources. You would simply click the link to see the currently available jobs.
